Komite Internazionalistetatik elkartasun eskutitz hau bidali diegu Ameden (Diyarbakirren) Oçalanen eskubideen alde eta herri kurduaren eskubideen alde gose greban daudenei:

Dear comrades,

First of all, in the name of Komite Internazionalistak (Basque internationalist solidarity organization) we would like to send to you all our support from the Basque Country.

The history of the Kurdish people, like many other peoples fighting for freedom, is full of massacres, attacks and bloodsheds, but it is also full of dignity and ability to reinvent itself against aggression. The Kurdish people are suffering one of the most severe attacks in recent times by the states that deny their right to decide their future. But on the other hand, the Kurdish people are showing a dignity that only know the people who fight for their future, and the role that women are playing should be emphasized, both in the struggle and political life, regaining their rights denied by patriarchy. From here, we denounce the aggression that the Turkish government, with the complicit silence and in many cases the support of Western governments and the European Union, is carrying out against Bakur and against Rojava. But we also keep in mind the continuing repression that the government of Iran applied to Rojhelat, and especially against political prisoners, and the treacherous and cowardly attitude of the government of Barzani, which maintains a criminal blockade on Rojava, and acts collusively with the Turkish government. We also denounce the illegal imprisonment and isolation of Abdullah Oçalan and request to end the punishment of solitary confinement as a step to establish a negotiating process for peace, as wella as his release like the rest of political prisoners. From Komite Internazionalistak we want to recognize the capacity of organization and defense response that is carrying out the Kurdish people in Bakur, Rojava, Bashur and Rojhelat. In Euskal Herria (Basque Country), we continue giving a voice to the demands of the Kurdish people and showing our internationalist solidarity.

Bijî Berxwedana Kurdistan!
